Hurfords join Pennies from Heaven, in support of Mind

In a bid to raise money for mental health charity Mind, Hurfords employees have chosen to opt in to Pennies for Heaven.

Pennies from Heaven is a social enterprise aimed at helping UK charities. It encourages businesses and individuals to donate small amounts of money every month.

The scheme works by directly donating the pennies from a payslip straight to a chosen charity. For example, if an employee earns £1500.56, 56p will be given to the selected charity. Meaning, the most anyone can ever pay is 99p per month- an amount that goes unnoticed!

Along with the Connells Group, we have chosen to donate our payslip pennies to Mind; a national mental health charity offering information, support and advice to people who are suffering with mental health problems. 

We are proud to be part of this great cause and aside from Pennies from Heaven, we have been busy fundraising for our local Mind charity too!

CPSL Mind is close to our hearts here at Hurfords, supporting our communities throughout Cambridgeshire, Peterborough and South Lincolnshire.

From virtual quiz nights, raffles and marathons, our 150+ employees have been putting their brains and bodies to the test and have so far raised an impressive £2075.
